Site: cadencecollection.com
Objective: In late 2010, Cadence Collection was in need of an e-commerce site to launch the brand direct to consumers in domestic and international markets. After researching all of the options available at the time I decided to go with a Shopify based site, as it seemed to allow us the most flexibility and growth potential. The site is partially template based but this was an intentional choice as I was doing this freelance at the time and the built in tools allowed the owners easy plug and play access to the major features on the back-end. Basically, you need not be a programmer to update the products, edit the banners, etc. The site has been updated seasonally, and the images below represent the site today. It's a clean, straight-forward design in regards to type, product photography and navigation.
Site: The Dyrdek Collection - Rob Dyrdek Capsule Site from DCShoes.com
Objective: While at DC Shoes I led the art direction and design for all things Rob Dyrdek. This included all print, digital, social, as well as leading a redesign for his Fantasy Factory office/playground for season 5 of the television series on MTV. Each season Rob Dyrdek launched his own collection of apparel and footwear and I would build a capsule site to showcase the goods. In addition to leading the design and development of this project, I managed a two person team consisting of a developer and UX designer.
